Laina Collings

My name is Laina Collings, I was born and raised in Sydney. After completing my schooling at Pacific
Hills Christian School I started studying chiropractic. I have always wanted to work with different people
and human Anatomy and physiology has always interested me therefore a vocation in chiropractic was perfect.

After 5 years of study I graduated from Macquarie University Sydney in 2008.
After graduation I was eager to learn and gain valuable experience so I accepted a great associate position
up in sunny Brisbane. I trained and learnt from a brilliant mentor in a high volume clinic for 18 months,
this giving me great experience and helping me grow as a new chiropractor.

I then achieved a lifelong goal of travelling the world. I spent 9 months backpacking through Europe,
the UK, Egypt and Jordan, New York then South and Central America. It was the experience of a lifetime
that taught me so much about different people, their cultures and way of life.
Now settled back in Sydney I’m looking forward to achieving my new goals. I am excited to be working
alongside Dr. Kaushal Bhuta, Dr. Alicia Kim and all the fabulous staff here at Necks Backs Sports
I have a special interest in upper back/shoulder pain, neck pain, headaches and migraines. I have
completed extra studies in varied chiropractic techniques including Applied Kinesiology (AK), Activator
and Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT). These are light force techniques used for sensitive spines or
those who prefer a more gentle adjustment.

Other interests include water skiing, snow skiing and hiking.

Necks Backs Sports is a great place to work, it has an amazing atmosphere and energy from the lovely
staff to the great patients. I look forward to meeting and working with you all soon.
